From Northwest Pennsylvania
From Erie,
PA, travel South on U.S. Interstate 79; at Meadville, you have two choices.
Either stay on U.S. Interstate 79 to Interstate 80 East or get off of Interstate
79 and make a left turn onto U.S. Route 6; in Meadville, make a right turn onto
U.S. Route 322 East. Eventually, you will want to get onto Interstate 80
East.
THE NEW IMPROVED WAY FOR 2003
Choose the Interstate approach,
stay on Interstate 79 to Exit 32 (Interstate 80); get onto Interstate 80 and
travel East. Remain on the Interstate 80 to the Bellefonte Exit (Exit 25). At
the bottom of the Exit 25 exit ramp, turn right onto PA route 220 (this is a new
4 lane road that will become US I-99) towards Bellefonte, Pleasant Gap, State
College and Altoona. Remain on the four lane highway for about 13 miles; you
will pass throught Pennsylvania Rockview Correctional Institution grounds. Once
you pass the DALE SUMMET exit begin thinking about getting into the RIGHT lane.
Take EXIT #73, marked STATE COLLEGE & LEWISTOWN... US Route 322 EAST, also
known as the Mount Nittany Expressway. Once you go under the highway bridges and
begin to murge onto US Rout 322 east, move over to the next lane to your left
because the murge lane turns into an exit lane for College Avene (DO NOT EXIT!)
You will now be traveling towards Boalsburg and Lewistown. The Mount Nittany
Expressway changes into two lanes east of Boalsburg; stay on U.S. 322 East for
about 6 miles.
You are within a few tenths of a mile of the Shaner Sports
Complex when you pass the Harley Davidson showroom on your left. Shortly after
the dealership, you will see the Dotter Farm Equipment sales showroom, also on
your left. The next drive on the right leads up to the Shaner Sports Complex,
look for the sign. You've GONE TOO FAR if you see a sign for Scott's Landscaping
on your right.

From Harrisburg PA
Turnpike exit 19, take interstate 23 towards Harrisburg and junction of
interstate 83 and US route 322; follow these two combined routes west where they
join with interstate 81; as you approach interstate 81, stay in the leftmost two
lanes and take 81 south. Merge from the left entry lane on 81 south to right
lane; US 322 west is the second exit off of 81. Take US route 322 west towards
Lewistown and State College. After corssing the river at Clarks Ferry, Lewistown
is approximately 50 miles. Roughly 6 miles before Lewistown, the four lane
highway reduces to two lanes. After six miles and just before Lewistown, US 322
turns off to the right and becomes four lanes once again until it crosses over
the seven mountains and enters Potters Mills. The Shaner Sports Complex is
approximately 4 miles on the left after passing Potters Mills. If you pass
Dotters Farm Equipment or the Harley Davidson dealership on the right, you've
passed the Shaner Sports Complex
From: Philadelphia, PA:
The Shaner Sports
Complex is located approxately 200 miles northwest of Philadelphia, PA on US
route 322 in pristine Penns Valley. From Philadelphia take the PA Turnpike
(interstate 76) west to the Harrisburg East exit (exit 19) take interstate 283
towards Harrisburg and the junction of Interstate 83 and US route 322; follow
these two combined routes west where they join with interstate 81; as you
approach interstate 81, stay in the leftmost tow lanes and take 81 south. Merge
from the left entry lane on 81 south to the right lane; US 322 west is the
second exit off of 81. Take US route 322 west towards Lewistown and State

Take interstate
78 west towards Harrisburg and merge with interstate 81 south. Interstate 81
south and US route 322 west join together in Harrisburg; stay in the right two
lanes. After the progress ave. exit, get in the right lane and prepare to take
the US route 322 exit to the right. Take US route 322 towards Lewistown and
state college. After crossing the river at Clarks Ferry, Lewistown is
approximately 50 miles. Roughly 6 miles before lewistown, the four lane highway
reduces to two lanes. After the six miles and just before lewistown, US 322
turns off to the right and becomes four lanes once again until it crosses over
the seven mountains and enters Potters Mills. The Shaner Sports Complex is
approximately 4 miles on the left after passing Potters Mills. If you pass
Dotter Farm Equipment or the Harley Davidson dealership on the right you've
passed the Shaner Sports Complex.
From: Pittsburgh, PA:
From the Monrowville
exit of the PA Turnpike (exit 6) take US route 22 east through Murrysville
towards Ebensburg and Altoona. As you enter Altoona coming down off Cresson
mountain, stay in the left lane at the base of the moutain. Murge onto US route
220 north(also know as interstate 99) and travel towards Tyrone. After passing
Tyrone, the four lane highway reduces to two lanes about two miles past Tyrone
and the road becomes just US 220. At the traffic light, make a right turn
towards Port Matilda. At the traffic light in Port Matilda, US route 220 north
joins with US route 322; go straight trough traffic light and now follow US
route 322 east. Approx. 2 miles east of Port Matilda, US 200 North and US 322
east diverge; follow US 322 east off to the right towaards state college. US 322
east turns into a four lane highway about three miles after departing from US
220; the four lane highway is also know as the Mount Nittany Expressway. There
is road constuction just before the four lane highway and as you approach state
college and the PA state university. Remain on the four lane highway and it will
again turn into two lanes; you're still on US 322 east and about six miles from
the shaner sports complex. You will see and Harley Davidson showroom on your
left within tow tenths of a miles you will see Dotter farm equipment, also on
the left. The next drive on the right is the enterence to the shaner sprots
complex; there is a sign at the enterence.
From: Northeast Pennsylvania:
The Shaner
Sports Complex is approximately 160 miles from Mount Pocono, PA and roughly 150
miles from Scranton, AP on US route 322 in pristine Penns Valley. If you are
traveling from Mount Pocono, PA take Interstate 80 west towards Ohio. If you are
coming from Scranton, PA travel interstate 81 south towards Harrisburg, PA;
approximately 36 miles south of Scranton head west on interstate 810. Stay on
interstate 81 west to Exit 24(Lemar) or exit 25 (Bellefonte, approx. 100
miles)
If you choose to get off interstate 80 at exit 24, make a left turn
onto PA route 664 at the bottom of the exit ramp; this will take your through
Lamar towards Zion and Pleasant Gap on a two lane road. After passing through
Zion and as you approach Pleasant Gap, PA route 64 turns into PA route 26. You
will end up going through Pleasant Gap on PA route 26. After leaving Pleasant
Gap, the next landmarks you will pass is the Rockview State Correctional
Institution and then the Nittany Mall. At the end of the Mall there is a
McDonalds, PA route 26 curves after the McDonalds and you come to another "T"
intersection; make a left turn traffic light at the intersection and travel
towards state college PA. Travel to the Mount Nittany Expressway (US route 322)
this is at the fourth traffic light after making the left turn at the Nittany
Mall. As you approach the Mount Nittany Expressway, stay in the left lane and
make a left turn onto the Expressway (US route 322 east) you will be traveling
towards Boalsburg and Lewistown. The Mount Nittany Expressway changes into two
lanes east of Boalsburg; stay on US 322 for about 6 miles, and the field is on
your left.
